Joe Rogan Calls Mark Zuckerberg A “Savage” For Competing In Jiu-Jitsu

During an episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan once again expressed his admiration for Mark Zuckerberg’s growing presence in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — this time calling the Meta CEO “a f***ing savage”.

The conversation turned to Zuckerberg’s surprising gold-medal win at a local BJJ tournament, where the billionaire reportedly went to great lengths to compete without attracting attention:

Mark Zuckerberg is a f***ing savage.
This dude has been training jiu-jitsu.

This is what he did – he wore a COVID mask, put a hat on, hid, and used an alias.

The image of one of the world’s richest men quietly entering a grappling tournament under disguise fascinated Rogan, who joked about how surreal it must have been for his opponents:

Imagine it’s your first competition, and you think: “What’s the worst that could happen?”

And then you get strangled by a super nerd.

According to Rogan, earning a blue belt – as Zuckerberg recently did – represents a real milestone in Jiu-Jitsu:

By the time you’re a blue belt, you’re dealing with people who actually know how to submit people.

What impressed Rogan most wasn’t the medal, but Zuckerberg’s willingness to test himself in public:

He doesn’t have to do anything.

He’s one of the richest people on Earth – and he just takes a chance, tries to get good at this thing, and then competes.

We should all celebrate that.
