Jacob Barber – a U.S. Air Force veteran who recently drew national attention for his claims about a classified UFO retrieval program – is also a dedicated martial artist and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belt instructor.
Specifically, Barber owns and operates Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Elk Cove, and has practiced BJJ since the late 1990s.
Barber’s recent revelations about his military experiences were made during an interview with NewsNation, where he described witnessing what he identified as “nonhuman” technology while serving as a military helicopter pilot.
Among the most striking details he shared was his encounter with an egg-shaped aircraft, which he observed from a distance of 100 feet using night vision goggles:
Just visually looking at the object on the ground, you could tell that it was extraordinary and anomalous.
It was not human.
Barber began practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu during his Air Force service and has since competed at high levels, including the Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro tournament in 2018 as a blue belt in the Master 3 94KG division.
Here is what his Gracie Academy biography reads:
