This Friday, ESPN reported that Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ tested positive for Covid-19. Souza was supposed to fight Uriah Hall, but their fight was immediately cancelled.
Despite the setback, the UFC will continue with the 11 other fights.
According to the UFC, Souza was asymptomatic but he has also informed the company officials on Wednesday that one of his family members had tested positive for Covid19.

Souza was placed in isolation and tested, and his positive results came back on Friday.

The UFC announced that two of Souza’s cornermen also tested positive for Covid-19. The two cornermen, just le Souza were asymptomatic.
Images have surfaced showing Souza in close contact with other fighters at the hotel including Fabricio Werdum.
