Hollywood Superstar Sydney Sweeney Shares Who Her Favourite MMA Fighter Is

Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney recently revealed her favorite UFC fighter of all time – and it’s none other than trailblazer Ronda Rousey.

During a video call with Nelk Boys co-founder Kyle Forgeard, Sweeney didn’t hesitate when asked to name the top fighter on her list:

I’ve always been a fan of Ronda.
I actually got to hang out with Ronda and go to lunch with her. That was f**king crazy.

Forgeard backed her choice immediately, pointing out Rousey’s pivotal role in elevating women’s MMA to the global stage:

She really did.

A longtime fan of combat sports, Sweeney has openly discussed her own training background. Now she’s preparing to bring that experience to the big screen, stepping into the role of boxing legend Christy Martin in an upcoming biopic set for release in 2025:

Over the past few months, I’ve been immersed in training to bring to life the story of an incredible woman — a true champion who fought battles both inside and outside the ring.

Her journey is a testament to resilience, strength, and hope, and I’m honored to step into her shoes to share her powerful story with you all.
