Grappling Industries: Vienna and Warsaw Tournaments Preview

The BJJ tournaments are heating up in Europe! After a lengthy pause that was brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, the competitions and the thrill behind them are back.
With that said, two of the tournaments that you should look forward to with great excitement are the Grappling Industries events in Vienna and Warsaw – Gi & No Gi!

Both of the tournaments are going to follow the exciting Round Robin formatting. That means that all adult competitors will get 4 matches when signing up for a division that fills up to 5 competitors. That is: if an athlete is going to compete in both Gi and No Gi, they could get 8 or more fights to their name! This will allow them to compete against plenty of different athletes and styles.
Additionally, these two events are going to follow the traditional points structure – but without advantages.

GRAPPLING INDUSTRIES: VIENNA & WARSAW

The Vienna tournament is taking place on September 5, at the HAKOAH Fitness & Wellness facility – Wehlistraße 326 in Vienna (Austria); with doors opening at 07:30am and the competition starting at 9am. The early bird registration is open, and will last until August 22.

The Warsaw tournament is going to take place on October 3, at the Centrum Sportu facility – Wiertnicza 26A street in Warsaw (Poland). The doors will open at 07:30 and the event will start at 9am as well; with the early bird registration open and lasting until September 19.

The event brackets and schedule will be released 48 hours prior to each tournament, and the weigh-ins are going to take place on the day of competition. Team standings, points, and medals will be updated live and shown on the results tab of the tournament page; with the two teams receiving the largest golden medal and ribbon in all of Jiu-Jitsu – The Best Overall Academy for Adults and the Best Overall Academy for Kids & Teens.
