Mikey Musumeci recently said that “99 percent” of Jiu-Jitsu competitors use PEDs – mentioning Gordon Ryan among other names – and voiced his hope that the UFC’s involvement would help clean up the sport.
And, even though his statements garnered attention, they also drew criticism from Ryan.
Ryan replied back to Musumeci’s claims via social media:
This guy is talking about cheating.
Steroids are legal in every competition minus specific IBJJF competitions since 2019.
It’s not cheating. All I hear is an excuse for why you could never do what others, specifically I have done.
He also went on to address Musumeci’s claims about being a moral athlete:
The guy talking about ethics and morals has been on 37 [BJJ] teams, got what he could from them, then left…
You want to have my [d*ck] in your mouth constantly and talk about morals?
How about start with loyalty. This rat’s been on more teams than Keenan.
Taking what he wishes and when he can’t learn anymore, leaves to the next.Get off your moral high ground, dork.
Sloth Jiu-Jitsu: you can be slow and unathletic and still kick butt in Jiu-Jitsu.
