Gabi Garcia Announces Comeback To Fighting In MMA

Gabi Garcia – the legendary Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete and competitor – has just announced that she will return to fighting in mixed martial arts (MMA)!

Garcia is undefeated in MMA and sports a 6-0 record. She aims to have her comeback fight in 2023, at 195 pounds:

Back to the ring by doing my part for this division and other divisions for women in this sport! I can’t end my MMA career without my goal to open up opportunities for all divisions.

It’s time to step into the ring and show the world that every sport I compete in, I am the one who holds the crown.

For everyone who thinks my career is done, I have bad news for you… I’ll never stop training! It’s time to shine!

Gabi Garcia has made her MMA debut back in 2015, in the RIZIN New Year’s Eve event. She finished her first her opponent, as well as the next three opponents she fought in 2016.

2017 was an uneventful year in the octagon for Garcia, as the one fight she had ended with a no contest result (due to an accidental eye poke).
But in 2018, she fought two times – and finished both of her opponents in dominant fashion.
