Fabricio Andrey Avenges Loss To Eduardo Granzotto With Decision Win At ONE Fight Night 36

Fabricio Andrey and Eduardo Granzotto put on a thrilling display of high-level jiu-jitsu at ONE Fight Night 36 – with Andrey earning a hard-fought decision victory.

The matchup was one of the most anticipated of the night — not only because of the fast-paced, attacking styles both athletes are known for, but also because of their recent history.

Earlier this year, the two met in the opening round of the IBJJF World Championship featherweight division, where Granzotto pulled off an upset, defeating Andrey on points.
Their rematch under ONE Championship’s submission-focused rules promised fireworks, and it delivered.

Granzotto made his promotional debut, while Andrey entered the bout fresh off a dominant win over Ashley Williams at ONE Fight Night 30.
Both grapplers exchanged aggressive scrambles and submission attempts.

But the defining moment came midway through the match when Andrey locked in a deep Armbar that forced Granzotto into a desperate defense.

That near-finish — coupled with Andrey’s constant offense — sealed the unanimous decision in his favor, moving him to 2-0 under the ONE banner.
With the featherweight title currently vacant, Andrey now finds himself well-positioned for a potential championship matchup against elite names like Diogo Reis or Garry Tonon.
