Ethan Crelinsten, a prominent figure in the world of BJJ, appears to be considering a transition to mixed martial arts – after a recent training session with his teammate Damien Anderson.
Interestingly, Crelinsten’s introduction to combat sports began with MMA before he shifted his focus to submission grappling.
His path took a significant turn when he joined Tristar MMA, led by coach Firas Zahabi.
Although he initially intended to pursue MMA, his passion for Jiu-Jitsu grew while training at Tristar – and he decided to commit fully to grappling.
With guidance from both Zahabi and John Danaher, Crelinsten quickly established himself as one of the sport’s rising stars, winning multiple ADCC Trials and earning his black belt.
Since then, he has become a household name in the international no-gi scene.
During his time with B-Team, he has watched teammate Damien Anderson embark on an impressive MMA career, amassing a perfect record with three finishes in just under a year.
This has likely provided Crelinsten with even more motivation and a highly skilled training partner as he explores the possibility of entering the MMA world himself.
