Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, UFC star and fan favorite, has revealed plans to resume testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) following his highly anticipated UFC return.
You feel like on the TRT – especially anyone who is like 38 to 42 – should be on testosterone replacement.
You literally feel like you’re 18 again.
Cerrone was quick to clarify that his treatment was aimed at recovery and wellness rather than performance enhancement:
I wasn’t on crazy, get-ripped anabolic steroids.
I was on TRT and a bunch of peptides.
He further elaborated that the treatment played a crucial role in addressing lingering injuries, particularly those affecting his brain:
Yes, I was on TRT and other peptides, which helped heal all the injuries I had, mainly my brain.
It’s actually legal to still take to this day in the UFC. They call it “the foundation” – and it helps revitalize your cells.
Before making his comeback, Cerrone must complete a mandatory six-month clean period. Conveniently, this timeline aligns with a planned return during Fourth of July week:
Oh, well, my six months. So, I’ve got to be clean for six months, and that’s conveniently enough for Fourth of July week.
