Donald Cerrone Admits Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs) Usage

Since his last UFC match, back in July at UFC 276, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone has been enjoying his retirement from MMA… But that doesn’t mean that he stopped training.

On the contrary. Cerrone keeps pushing himself, but not just when it comes to MMA training – he also does it in the weightroom.
In fact, he recently shared a picture of himself looking buffer than ever:

In other words, the popular Cowboy has put on a significant amount of muscle in the last six months. This led to many people questioning whether his growth would be “USADA approved”.

And, well, Cerrone himself has decided to put an end to the speculation. In a recent Calabasas Fight Companion podcast, he admitted PED usage:

I was just literally yesterday in Vegas, I was telling everybody like, I understand why steroids are illegal now that I’m injecting them into my body.

I feel like I’m f*cking 20 again. The training would never stop. You could just literally train as hard as you wanted to, (then) wake up the next day recovered and fresh.
Recovery would be the biggest (improvement). It’s the fountain of youth.

He shared on Instagram that he is now 220 lbs:

I was 175 pounds pretty much my entire UFC career. I’m now 220 and I’m starting to really shred up and put on a lot of muscle mass and you can really tell.
I mean, just over the last few videos, I’ve had people like: “Wow, you’re a lot bigger.” Well, yeah. I’m on the good sh*t.
