Dillon Danis just might be one of the most infamous MMA personalities on social media.
The BJJ black belt hasn’t competed in a while. And, even though he was supposed to fight the social media influencer KSI in a boxing match earlier this year, he pulled out of that bout.
However, as he revealed in a recent interview with The Schmo, he’s been wanting to return to competition for a while now:
I feel like I’ll be back in the cage soon. I’m going to shut everyone up and make sure they shut the f*ck up, you know. I’m ready to go.
I’ve been begging for a fight with Bellator, and, you know, they’ve been kind of been. I don’t know, they’ve been playing me, so I’m allowed to do my own thing.
Now, what do you need? I’ve been begging for a fight for months. I’m ready to go. I’ve been ready to go.
And, when asked about his fight against KSI and why he pulled out of it, Danis said that he can’t disclose the full truth just yet:
I can’t talk about that because I’m working with them right now, but one day I’m going to tell the truth.
I’m going to tell the whole story, but right now know we’re working on the deal… So [I’ll tell it later].
