Dana White Says Power Slap Will Be “Bigger Than The UFC”

Dana White, the UFC CEO, recently made a significant and quite a bold claim about his latest venture, Power Slap.

After another eventful night of slapping matches, White expressed his belief that Power Slap will surpass the UFC in popularity and become the next big thing in combat sports.

Yes. That Power Slap will become bigger than the UFC is.

During the Power Slap 8 post-fight press conference, White confidently stated:

I said this will be the biggest sport in the world.
This will be bigger than the UFC.

This will be bigger than the UFC.
Now you can remember I said that.

I’ll see you in a few years and we’ll talk again.

Whether or not Power Slap actually does qualify first as a legitimate sport and then as a UFC-worthy venture is up for debate.
However, White’s faith in its potential is clear.

He envisions a future where Power Slap takes on and beats the UFC’s $12 billion empire (!) that he helped build alongside the Fertitta brothers and others.

So, only time will be able to tell if White’s ambitious prediction comes to fruition.
But for now, he’s all in on Power Slap becoming a global phenomenon.
