Craig Jones Slams ADCC For Keeping Izaak Michell On 2026 World Championship Roster

Craig Jones Slams ADCC For Keeping Izaak Michell On 2026 World Championship Roster

Craig Jones has publicly criticized ADCC after Izaak Michell remained on the official competitor list for the 2026 World Championships.

The controversy intensified after the Polish organizers republished the tournament roster this week, with Michell’s name still included.
The decision came after months of speculation, fueled by FloGrappling temporarily removing Michell from its published competitor list and the official ADCC invite page disappearing for nearly two months.

Jones didn’t hold back when reacting to the news. Here is what he had to say on his Instagram stories:

Can someone explain to me why Izaak Michell, wanted, allegedly, for s*x offences in the United States, he’s getting a paid vacation to compete in Poland.
And why that’s a tough decision to not allow him in the tournament.

He also called on companies associated with the event to publicly address the situation:

Hey, sponsors, say something. Hey, streaming platforms, maybe say something. Hey, the promoter of the event, maybe say something.
Because there’s a great likelihood that there’s a victim there.

Jones’ comments come as Australian media outlet 10 News Plus has reported that two arrest warrants have been issued for Michell.

The first stems from Hayes County, Texas, where authorities are seeking Michell in connection with serious allegations.
The Sheriff’s Office has also issued a wanted poster warning that Michell is a martial arts expert and offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his location.

A second warrant was reportedly issued on February 25, 2026, with investigators stating:

There are allegations that they want to further investigate and as part of that they want to arrest Mr. Michell to be able to then question him.
