Craig Jones has taken another target into his sight – this time an “anonymous” manager who is taking too high of a percentage from athletes’ competition endeavors.
Here is what he had to say on his Instagram stories:
Guys, just a warning for athletes using managers in Jiu-Jitsu.
One guy is out there charging 20%. MMA industry standard is 10%.He’s also recommending people do an event that pays undisclosed show money deals of which he takes 20%.
Jones then compares that to what’s taking place at the Craig Jones Invitational (CJI) – and why that is the reason that the said manager is telling his athletes to compete at “the other event” (ADCC):
Our event is standard show money and prize money of which he can’t take a cut.
Which is why he is preaching the legacy of the other event and encouraging his athletes to do that event.
But who is the manager?
Jones leaves it a bit for the audience to figure out:
He’s the same genus that convinced his athlete to use his dodgy doctor, then got his athlete popped for steroids…
Affecting his legacy.
Who do you think is the said manager?
