Buchecha On 2023 Goals & Video Games: “Sometimes I Play Call Of Duty”

Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida, one of the greatest BJJ athletes of all time, is currently focused on MMA… What’s more, it’s the only thing he is focused on when it comes to his career – and 2023 will be no different.

Buchecha spoke about this 2023 goal in a recent interview with ONE Championship:

All my focus is on MMA, and 2023 will be no different. I’m improving every day, and I want to get more victories.
My ultimate goal is to become ONE heavyweight world champion, so I’m working really hard on that. I hope to achieve this goal in 2023.

If I manage to maintain this good form and conquer some more good victories, then I think I will be worthy of challenging for the title.

But then again, the 32 year old also knows how to relax and have fun. For instance, sometimes he plays video games!
Which ones, though?

I played more when I was younger. But sometimes I play FIFA Soccer on PlayStation 5 with some friends.
When we play, it is certain that we will have a good laugh and that it will also cause some confusion (laughs). I don’t have a video game [system] anymore, but whenever I go to a friend’s house who does, I play. It’s pretty fun.

Sometimes I play Call of Duty too.
