Yes, you’ve heard it right! The IBJJF 2021 Gi World Championships is now official! After a lengthy pause from almost any sort of Jiu-Jitsu competitions in 2020, that was brought by the COVID-19 epidemic, the IBJJF announced the dates and the location for this year’s much anticipated tournament.

The World Championships will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim (CA), from December 9 to December 12, 2021.
This tournament is going to “round up” the revival of tournaments under the IBJJF flag at the end of this year. The Pans are going to take place from September 1-5, and the No Gi Worlds from October 7 to October 10. With this pace, the Jiu-Jitsu world could soon see a quick move towards complete revival of competitions all around the globe.
