The Craig Jones Invitational (CJI) event keeps hitting headlines across the BJJ world…
And this time is no different – as none other than Mikey Musumeci has joined the tournament!
Specifically, he’ll compete in a superfight.
It’s still not certain who his opponent will be, however:

The BJJ community in large has been nothing short but positively surprised by the announcement, with comments such as:
Damn and I thought the Ruotolos would have been the last major announcement. Huge!
Some have even gone as far as to criticize the ADCC for “not having anything to show for” this year:
There is literally no point competing at ACDC or whatever it’s called.
It is not on par with an Olympic Games without the USA, Russians and Chinese competing. Pointless.
Mikey Musumeci has been tearing it in competition in the last several years.
Most recently, he’s also been announced to face Kade Ruotolo in a ONE Championship match.
Their bout will take place on September 6:
