Braulio Estima Looking To Use His Experience To Overcome Keenan, Romulo, Galvao, Jackson At Abu Dhabi World Pro

At 33 years of age, Braulio Estima  has no time to lose. He knws that he has a few years left to be at the top of his game. He decided to fight in World Abu Dhabi from 15-19 April and expects to perform in UAE.

He told Tatame:

“My retirement is getting closer, and did not want to waste another year. I have come to be one of the organizers of the trials, so I decided to also fight because I know that I can comp[ete with the guys of new generation. I’m here more for fun than pressure. But of course, I come to win. If I thought that I would not give to be a champion, I wouldn’t have appeared. Last week, I felt a pulled in my back, I’m getting old, so every year it gets harder. I’ve never won a contest in Abu Dhabi and came to see how it will be, “

He still hasn’t set a date for his retirement:

“No deadline, as long as I feel good. When I realize that there’s no more, I’ll stop. When you have projects that are the fruits of a successful career – such as a gym, seminars, being a teacher, entrepreneur, beyond the family – then it’s tough to focus 100% in training. If I see that the goals of outside events are giving me more pleasure, then I’ll change. ”

Settled in England, Braulio was training with his brother, Victor, and Lucio Lagarto. He will also be joined by Romulo Barral, among other athletes. The veteran knows that need to use his experience to overcome the vitality of young people.

“In my category will be Keenan Cornelius, Jackson Souza, Pedro Perez, Tarcisio, Ricardo Bastos, Lucas Leite … All are very good, not easy opponent. It is a fight after another, you never know how it goes. “
