Braulio Estima Finishes 24-Hour BJJ Rolling Challenge for Charity

Braulio Estima is one of the many athletes who’ve recently finished the 24-hour Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu rolling challenge; the so-called “Rollathon” which was organized by the Reorg organization and which already managed to raise over $663,500 USD – with an aim of supporting veterans.
In short, Reorg is an organization that helps veterans that struggle with life-altering injuries and trauma overcome their challenges through learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. BJJEE previously reported on Mark Ormrod, a BJJ blue belt, military veteran, and triple-amputee who completed the challenge… And one of the best Jiu-Jitsu athletes in history, Braulio Estima, has done the same!

Estima first explained what the purpose behind the challenge was and what it means to him:

It’s incredible to see all the support online but also first hand at the academies supporting our REORG Rollathon.

Here with our official REORG ambassador @braulioestima and his students at @gb_birmingham Thank you all for your support of our REORG mission and community.

You can still get involved with a supporting academy or support us by donating to our REORG mission and community.

Join this epic end of year event.

Started at 0800 Thu 09 December Finish 0800 Fri 10 December.

This will be the final challenge of the series of challenges from @markormrod campaign supported by @ben.wadham for REORG but this time we want you all to get involved.

This is going to be an incredible way to end the year before Christmas. All coming together in support of our REORG mission and community.

At around 17 hours, Braulio was still going strong:

And then, of course, Braulio Estima finished the challenge – alongside many of his students:
