BJJ Black Belt Veteran Renato Canuto Extends Undefeated MMA Record With Another First-Round Finish

Renato Canuto continued his impressive start in MMA, securing another first-round victory at Tuff-N-Uff 152 to maintain his perfect professional record.

The elite grappler, already well known for his accomplishments in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is quickly making a name for himself in MMA.

With four fights and four finishes – all coming in the opening round – Canuto is beginning to attract attention as a potential future contender for larger promotions.

Heading into his bout against Dylan Aparis, Canuto had spent just over five minutes total inside the cage across his first three fights.
Expectations were high for another quick finish…

And he delivered once again – the fight lasted only 1 minute and 45 seconds.

Early on, both fighters were willing to engage on the feet. Just under 30 seconds into the fight, Canuto landed a short right hand as Aparis stepped forward, dropping him to the canvas.
He immediately followed up with aggressive pressure against the cage, looking to capitalize on the early knockdown.

Aparis managed to respond with wild hooks, forcing Canuto to reset in the center of the cage.
He then went forward with heavy strikes of his own, briefly backing Canuto up and attempting to turn the momentum.

Canuto initially looked for a takedown, but Aparis defended well and continued to press forward with aggressive striking.
The two exchanged punches in close range.

However, Canuto then connected with another clean right hand that dropped Aparis for a second time.
Seizing the moment, he rushed in to finish the fight, forcing the stoppage and securing yet another first-round victory.
