The troubled spiral of BJ Penn has taken another disturbing turn, as court documents now reveal that the former two-division UFC champion recently asked a judge to verify whether his mother was, in fact, who she claimed to be.
Penn had previously accused his mother of being a government-replaced doppelgänger – an allegation, coupled with threats and being aggressive, that led to his arrest and a restraining order being filed against him by the woman in question.
