Bitcoin Cash Sponsors Gordon Ryan With $100,000 for ADCC 2022

The ADCC 2022 is coming soon! The superfight between bitter rivals, Gordon Ryan and Andre Galvao, is highly expected; all the while every single division is stacked with phenomenal athletes as well. However, what’s additionally exciting about the Championships are the levels to which BJJ is improving… And not just on the “global” level, but also on the individual, competitor level!
For instance, it’s just been revealed that Ryan has been sponsored by the cryptocurrency Bitcoin Cash – with $100,000!

It has to be said that Bitcoin Cash’s owner is Roger Ver a BJJ brown belt and huge fan of professional Jiu-Jitsu.

Mo Jassim, ADCC 2022’s main organizer, explained why he’s so excited about these news:

This was my vision from day 1. Put on amazing entertaining grappling events, bring in a much larger audience(13k), which then brings in major sponsors who will put up some heavy sponsorship deals. This is the power of ADCC 2022 and will continue to grow and have effects after the event.

Gordon Ryan was proud of his achievement as well:

We aren’t the same. And don’t forget that.

These are not just great news for Gordon nor for the ADCC, of course – but for the grappling fans worldwide, who can rest assured that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will only continue progressing in the future.
