Which is a clear sign that she’ll soon fight in an MMA debut!

Bia Mesquita is one of the top female Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes in history.
She’s won an astonishing 10 (!) IBJJF World Championship titles, out of which 8 were in her own weight class and 2 were in the absolute division. Only Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida has won more IBJJF world titles than she has.
Mesquita has also earned an impressive accolade of no-gi medals as well. She has 5 IBJJF No-Gi World Championship titles to her name, as well as an ADCC gold medal (back from 2017).
In other words: she has done it all when it comes to Jiu-Jitsu and it makes more than enough sense for her to transition to mixed martial arts.
News still haven’t been made public in regards to which organization she’ll fight in… But chances are, it’ll be a top-ranking MMA organization such as the ONE Championship or PFL.
