Bellator 277: Rhalan Gracie Loses Fourth MMA Fight In A Row

Rhalan Gracie, son of Relson Gracie, is a professional MMA fighter who’s fighting under the Bellator banner. However, unlike what many might’ve expected to be the case, Rhalan hasn’t been able to find much success in mixed martial arts; he has lost all of his previous four fights.

His latest one was at Bellator 277, against Tyson Miller. Due to the fact that his Bellator record (up until then) was a 0-1 and his overall professional MMA record was 0-3, this fight was perhaps the one that was holding the future of his career with the promotion.
Unfortunately, Rhalan didn’t manage to secure a favorable result. It was after the very first round that the cageside doctor approached him and tested his reactions – by making him look at a finger while he was moving it. However, as it’s visible on the video below, the Gracie wasn’t able to follow the finger properly, so the doctor decided to put the fight to a stop.

Rhalan has fought in MMA all the way back in the mid-2000s, on a regional circuit, but stopped fighting for over a decade. Then, he returned to fighting at Bellator 266 when he lost to Shane Keefe via unanimous decision.
With this loss, it’s quite likely that Bellator will decide to part ways with him.
