The World Jiu-Jitsu Expo takes place October 18-19, at the Long Beach Convention Center.
The event has the following attraction already confirmed.
Marcus Buchecha, Leo Veira, the Mendes Bros, Rodrigo Cavaca & Robert Drysdale and Roberto Cyborg will also be teaching seminars.
Five superfights are also already confirmed – Gianni Grippo vs. Augusto Tanquinho, Nino Schembri vs. Vitor Shaolin, Robson Moura vs. Marcos Parrumpinha, Tim Spriggs vs. Leo Nogueira, João Assis vs. Rolles Gracie (no-gi), Caio Terra vs Jeff Curran.
With the six other superfights already confirmed, the event has also a great match up in the featherweight category: Hawaiian Baret Yoshida will face Samir Chantre in a Gi match lasting 15 minutes.
The fight will follow the rules of the IBJJF.
Chantre is a black belt under Alan Moraes and currently trains with Caio Terra in the United States.
Baret Yoshida is a ADCC medalist and recently drew with Jeff Glover at Metamoris IV. He also ventured into MMA, with six wins and six losses.
