Amid Controversy, Anderson Silva Unwinds by Teaching Jiu-Jitsu at His Academy

In the middle of a huge doping scandal, Anderson Silva seems to have found a way to unwind. A 3rd degree lack belt in Jiu-Jitsu under Minotauro, the Spider was spotted giving classes at his gym Anderson Silva Muay Thai College in Los Angeles, on Thursday.

WSOF bantamweight fighter Sheymon Moraes who has trained at Anderson’s Academy was able to catch the moment on his Facebook:

Sheymon wrote:

“Always in search of evolution. Learning champion Anderson Silva, “

Silva yesterday told TMZ that he wanted to rematch Nick Diaz, PED free this time:

“I don’t know what happened. I’m surprised,” “The Spider” said. “When my manager called me and said ‘Anderson, we have a problem because you go to the test for the commission is bad’. I said, ‘What, I don’t know what happened’. I think this is bad for the sport, it’s so bad for me and my life. And that does nothing to change my performance in the fight. I respect the commission now. When all this (is) done, I go fight Nick next one.”
