UFC’s Muhammad Mokaev and Raul Rosas Jr., are set to face off in the main event of ADXC 6 on October 25, 2024!
The two fighters agreed to step in on just seven days’ notice after the original main event between Umar Nurmagomedov and Eduardo “Dudu” Dantas fell through.
Both athletes have been viewed as top talents within the sport for some time.
Mokaev began his career with a 6-0 (1) record on the regional MMA circuit before being signed to the UFC, while Rosas Jr. went 5-0 and made history as the youngest fighter to earn a UFC contract after winning his sixth fight on Dana White’s Contender Series.
Since then, Mokaev has improved his record to 13-0 (1) and has become a free agent after leaving the UFC.
Rosas Jr., on the other hand, has amassed a 10-1 record and continues his rise through the UFC bantamweight rankings – fighting one weight class above Mokaev (who competes at flyweight).
And, as far as grappling goes, Mokaev is known for his dominant wrestling and has competed in numerous Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments – although some of those bouts have stirred controversy.
Meanwhile, Rosas Jr. has proven himself at an even higher level in BJJ – gaining attention for beating two adult black belts as a 16-year-old prodigy.
