ADXC 4: Check Out The Full Card, Fight Order, & Everything Else You Need To Know

The fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship is almost upon us!
Marking the tournament’s first installment on European soil, the ADXC 4 is set to take place on May 18th at the Dojo de Paris, in France.

The road to the ADXC 4 has been filled with thrills. After the ADXC 3’s success in Brazil, the organization went on to confirm the fifth edition but remained suspiciously tight-lipped about the fourth one, prompting fight fans to immediately ask what happened to ADXC 4.

After letting the mystery linger for a couple of weeks, the ADXC started revealing the pieces of the larger puzzle that would take over the French capital on May 18th.

Like its predecessors, the ADXC 4 has been organized alongside AJP, the organization’s technical partner, and will feature fourteen bouts in its card. With all the pieces in place and only a few days to go before the tournament, it’s time to analyze the duels that will bring the ADXC’s high-octane action to the City of Light. Check out below the card’s details and the full line-up for the ADXC 4!

Main Event

The first match revealed for the ADXC 4, Espen Mathiesen and Leon Larman face off in the Jiu-Jitsu Main Event.

Coming from a victory in the second edition of the tournament, the Norwegian black belt Espen Mathiesen brings his well-rounded game back to the famous cage to seek another big win for his career, but he’ll have to contend with the French powerhouse Leon Larman, a dangerous black belt under Caio Terra who made a name for himself by competing in the European continent and seizing over half of his Professional victories via submission.

While Espen is backed by his experience fighting at the tournament, the Local Leon will have the support of the attending crowd, meaning the playing field will be leveled as both fighters take to the battlefield.

Meanwhile, the Grappling Main Event will bring UFC athletes Benoit Saint Denis and Marc Diakiese for five rounds of pure action.

Benoit Saint Denis, also known as the “God of War”, is a French athlete with 13 victories in his MMA career, nine of those coming via submission, and with a vast arsenal of chokes that stand to choke the victory out of his opponent.
On the other side, Marc “Bonecrusher” Diakiese is an English MMA athlete who’s been in the game for over ten years, meaning he’s been around for long enough to know how to perfectly position himself, and he’ll be tapping into that experience to fully use the ADXC cage to make his opponent’s life a lot harder on the big day.

Co-Main Event

Starting with the Jiu-Jitsu Co-Main Event, AJP powerhouses Leonardo Mario and Khaled Alshehhi put their skills to the test.

A Brazilian athlete representing PSLPB Cícero Costha, Leonardo Mario is the 2021-2022 global ranking leader within the organization, with multiple gold medals conquered in the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam World Tour backing his stake as one of the most proficient competitors in the organization’s roster.
Meanwhile, Khaled Alshehhi is one of the most promising athletes of the current generation, racking up many victories around the world with his guard passing game and merciless attacks from the back.

On the Grappling Co-Main Event, the ADXC 4 brings Ffion Davies and Morgan Black to compete for the title.

Widely regarded as one of the best grapplers of her generation, Ffion Davies is a Welsh athlete who left her mark in the ADXC during her participation in its second edition, in which she unleashed her game and submitted the UFC’s Luane Pinheiro with less than a minute on the clock.
Across the battlefield, the American black belt Morgan Black is an experienced competitor who claimed her place among the sport’s elite by testing her skills all over the world, and she’ll be using that experience to try and get the better of her dangerous opponent.

Main Card

Like its predecessors, the ADXC 4 will have many thrills for fight fans in its Main Card, like the grappling duel between Abdul-Kareem Al Sewady and Amin Youb.
An ADXC 1 champion, the “Pride of Palestine” Al Sewady is an MMA athlete with 15 victories in the sport and he’ll be up against the French Amin Youb, an Ares FC competitor armed to the teeth with chokes and armbars who’ll be coming to taste victory in his ADXC debut.

Before that, Flyweights Cassio Silva and Marko Oikarainen don their gis and go all out in the ADXC cage.
The duel will be a rematch from ADGS Rome 2024, which saw Cassio, a Brazilian black belt and a champion in the AJP, conquering the title after beating Marko, a three-time ADGS champion from Finland, in the last fight of their division.

Back to grappling, Nathiely de Jesus and Elizabeth Mitrovic make their debut in the ADXC.
Nathiely is an ADGS champion hailing from Brazil and a dangerous contender for the title, but Elizabeth will be armed with all the experience she accrued fighting all over the world, so there are no safe bets for this duel.

Debuting in the ADXC, Magdalena Loska and Nia Blackman face off in a Jiu-Jitsu bout.
Hailing from Poland, Magdalena is a two-time ADGS champion, but she’ll be facing the talented Nia Blackman, a 19-year-old UK athlete who has racked up experience by competing all over the world.

Meanwhile, a Grappling bout between Steven Ray and Ibrahima Mane will open the Main Card.
Hailing from Scotland, Steven is a former UFC and PFL athlete with 25 victories to his name, while Ibrahima is a French PFL athlete who’s been undefeated since 2021.

Prelims Card

Kicking off the action at the ADXC 4, the Preliminary Card brings five exciting matches to give the attending crowd and the fans at home a sample of the action they can expect from the tournament.

In a Jiu-Jitsu bout, Florian Bayili faces Youness Bannouali while Geo Martinez goes toe-to-toe against Nicolas Renier in a Grappling bout.

Still in the card, Luca Anacoreta goes up against Kalim Mastouri in a Jiu-Jitsu bout and Alexander Alexandrov faces Kasper Larsen in a Grappling bout.
