ADCC Champion Bianca Basilio Set For Professional MMA Debut

Bianca Basilio is officially stepping into a new chapter of her combat sports career after signing a contract with Legacy Fighting Alliance, where she is set to make her professional MMA debut.

Widely regarded as one of the most complete grapplers of her generation, Basilio has built a resume that includes both ADCC and IBJJF World Championship titles.

While her name is synonymous with elite jiu-jitsu, Basilio has already had a brief taste of MMA competition.

In 2022, she competed in an amateur bout at MMA Supercup against Shokhona Ghozoeva. And the contest barely lasted a minute.
Basilio closed the distance immediately, secured the takedown within seconds, and transitioned smoothly to mount before finishing the fight with an armbar just 63 seconds after the opening bell.

That short appearance is the extent of her MMA experience so far.
Now, three years later, she returns to the cage with the backing of one of North America’s most respected feeder promotions.

Her debut date and opponent have yet to be announced, but the move to LFA places Basilio directly on the radar of the UFC’s matchmakers.
