2 Strikes & Out: Robert Drysdale Fired By UFC Following 2 Failed Drug Tests

The excess testosterone level found in the blood of Robert Drysdale after his submission victory against Keith Berish, in July, was costly to the American-Brazilian fighter.

UFC president Dana White announced on Saturday (23rd) in conference after UFC Macau, that the ex world champion of Jiu-Jitsu is out of the UFC.

The information was confirmed by site MMA Fighting.

Drysdale had been unable to fight earlier this year, for his UFC debut. At the time, the Nevada State Athletic Commission denied a permit to the fighter, who had also tested positive for excessive testosterone.

Drysdale will likely be fined and suspended by NAC, and he won’t be back inside the Octagon when his suspension is over.
