14-Year-Old Joslyn Molina Accepts ADCC 2026 Invite & Makes History

Joslyn Molina has officially accepted an invitation to compete in the under 65kg division at ADCC 2026, making her the youngest athlete ever to compete at the event.

While earning a place at ADCC is a major accomplishment for any grappler, Molina’s achievement is particularly remarkable given that she is only 14 years old.
Over the past year, she has emerged as one of the sport’s brightest young prospects, regularly competing against and defeating adult opponents at ADCC Open events across the United States.

Despite her age, Molina has already faced many of the top female competitors in the country and has secured several notable victories along the way.

Her performances were impressive enough that ADCC officials altered a long-standing rule to allow her to compete at Trials.
Previously, athletes were required to be at least 15 years old at the time of the tournament. The organization lowered that age requirement, opening the door for Molina to test herself against some of the best competitors in the sport.

She immediately proved that decision was justified.

Competing at the ADCC North American East Coast Trials last year, Molina won a bronze medal and became the youngest athlete in history to earn a medal at an ADCC Trials event.

Molina first attracted widespread attention at the ADCC Youth Championship in 2024.
Competing above both her natural age group and weight class, she won gold in the under 70kg division for 17-year-old athletes, establishing herself as one of the most promising young talents in grappling.

Since then, she has continued to build momentum through a series of standout performances against experienced adult competitors.
