Troubled combat jiu jitsu fight night came to its inevitable conclusion last night when the only experienced grappler earned himself a new title.
As a reminder CJJ Fight Night has certainly gone through a major transition. From Gordon Ryan, Vinny Magalhaes, Werdum and Josh Barnett it steadily moved through each one of these participants in the end ending up with exactly 0 of the previously announced.
In the end it starred Yuri Simoes, Stephen Martinez, Jon Blank and Kevin Casey. Out of the 4 only Simoes has a huge pedigree having conquered ADCC and automatically qualified for this year’s event.
