Yuri Simoes Cries Out – Blames IBJJF on Loss Against Gordon Ryan

Gordon Ryan scored one of the biggest victories of his shortlived IBJJF career over the weekend when he scored double gold at the IBJJF Nogi worlds.
Ryan strolled through his division – particularly on day 1 when he managed to rack up 47:0 and then submit an opponent with 4 minutes left.

Albeit victories of day one were overshadowed by controversies of day 2 – when Cyborg was DQed against him for … being a little overeager to transition Ryan to MMA.

Simoes told flograppling:

I feel like I was the most aggressive fighter. Kept pushing the pace. Looking for gaps. I do not feel like he scored an advantage in the beginning because if that was an advantage my passing – my pass attempts were definitely an advantage.

Not to be outdone Ryan responded:
