YouTuber Hospitalized After Prank Gone Wrong with UFC Fighter Raul Rosas Jr.

If you’re planning to prank a UFC fighter, it’s best to think twice… Especially if that fighter is 19-year-old bantamweight sensation Raul Rosas Jr.

A recent attempt by a YouTuber to prank Rosas turned into a harsh lesson – one that ended with a hospital trip and a neck injury for the prankster.

It all started innocently enough in a gym, with Rosas on a treadmill. The prankster, who clearly underestimated the dangers of toying with a professional fighter, began by staring at Rosas and even taking his weights, presumably in hopes of stirring up some lighthearted tension.

The tension, however, escalated rapidly. After a brief separation, the prankster, undeterred and emboldened, showed up in another area of the gym where Rosas was training on the heavy bag. This time, he arrived with boxing gloves on, apparently attempting to make the situation more “playful.”

Rosas, not amused, spotted him instantly. Wasting no time, he landed a clean and solid punch. The two were separated again, but by this point, things had gone far beyond a simple prank.

Sensing that the prank had spiraled out of control, the YouTuber appeared ready to walk away. But after some encouragement – likely from onlookers eager for a show – he agreed to a sparring session with Rosas.

It was a decision he would come to regret. Almost immediately, Rosas floored him with a massive shot. The barrage that followed, a flurry of ground and pound strikes, left little doubt about who was in control.

Rosas then transitioned smoothly into a Rear Naked Choke. While the prankster quickly tapped, Rosas held the position just a little longer than necessary, ensuring his point was crystal clear: pranking a UFC fighter is a dangerous game.

The entire sequence was captured on video, providing an unforgettable reminder that sometimes, jokes can go way too far – especially when your target is a trained combat athlete.
