Xande is a master of the flower sweep which is a great option to sweep, submit or takes someone’s back from closed guard. Once you get your grips and feel the opponent’s energy and time it, it’s on.
Xande was able to to hit and popularize this move in a crucial match versus Marcelo Garcia at the 2004 IBJJF Brazilian Nationals.
