White Belt Cop Attempts To Armbar Woman; She Counters with a Reversal

The potential for jiu jitsu to enable police officers to be better at their job is enormous. We often observe videos like trips and perfect stand up technique enabling men in nasty situations to defend themselves regardless of what side of the conflict they’re on.

Outside Trip So Good It’s Criminal

However for  Law Enforcement Officers there’s an obvious benefit to knowing ground work – aka brazilian jiu-jitsu.

In this case, this NYC police officer obviously used excessive force with this female suspect when he dragged her to the ground and even attempted to armbar her (a big No No). That wasn’t a good idea as the untrained woman was able to defend the cop’s sloppy armbar and come out on top before getting controlled by the other police officers.
