Vitor Belfort – Suddenly Jacked Again

In jiu jitsu a jacked look is nothing new. For years and years we’ve been seeing veterans such as Pablo Popovitch, Galvao, Barral and many more.

However when someone who has been looking rather bleak for a long time re emerges from the USADA tyranny in the UFC you can’t help but look.

Back when Belfort made his debut in the UFC he looked like this:

However from there things took a turn for the extra jacked:

And ultimately went south:

However all is not bleak. After completing his tenure in the ufc Belfort is back to his “old self”. Just yesterday Belfort premiered his new “old” self:

Since my last fight I’ve been asked, approached, texted etc… by everyone I know and specially my fans with the same question: Will you fight again? And the the next sentence is: Please don’t retire. So now I’m changing the roles. I’m approaching YOU! I’m in NY with my family and I will randomly talk to someone and ask his/her opinion if I should come back. I confess that I’m getting excited about it!!! Be ready, you could be next!!!

Belfort is also rumored to be in talks for a Jon Jones grappling match in Brazil – a rumor which Jones himself somewhat confirmed!

Belfort finished his career with a 26-14 (1 NC) record and also made a name for himself in PRIDE FC, where he earned his first disciplinary suspension after testing positive. “The Phenom” would later fail drug test in late 2015.

5x World BJJ champion Bernardo Faria has developed the No Gi Half Guard. His submissions and sweeps works just as easily for No Gi, if not easier.
1.In No Gi there are not as many grips you can play. For example, you can’t play spider guard and the whole array of guards that stem from it. His guard works perfectly.
2.There are not a lot of grips your opponent can use to stop your sweep while playing No Gi. They can’t grab your collar, sleeve or pants obviously. Again, his guard works perfectly.
