Another day brings us another exciting history lesson unearthed. BJJ has changed so much over the years and this footage shows exactly that.
Uploaded by Marcio Stambowsky also known as Macarrao who is a judo brown belt and a brazilian jiu-jitsu coral belt. He is a member of the famous five – the 5 men that were graded by the legendary Rolls Gracie.

Notably Macarrao was a part of the wrestling team that Rolls Gracie intended to take to the Olympic Games in Moscow.
This footage was taken several years after Rolls Gracie lost his life in a tragic accident. Following the event Stambowsky went through an extended grieving period.
