Two Members Of The Syrian Judo National Squad Lose Life In Bombing

 

 

The state news agency SANA (Syrian Arab News Agency) recently revealed that monday 2 judo players were killed and more than 12 other judoka were injured, some critically when a rebel lobbed mortar round hit a sports hall they were training in in Damascus.

 

 

Identities of the deceased athletes have not been revealed yet.

 

 

Syrian judo federation has yet to make any statement. Estimated judoka count in Syria is 3000.
