Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov (also known as Nurmie h/t) were initially to meet in March of last year. You might remember this was part of the whole Tiramisu gate – that ultimately ended with Nurmagomedov ending up in a hospital.
Now a year later Ferguson and Nurmagomedov match up is about to go down at UFC 223 but that doesn’t mean it’s absent of controversy. Just last night, 10th planet black belt announced:

Meanwhile James Vick predicted Khabib victory:
“I think Khabib wins. I think that Ferguson’s too content with being on his back,” Vick told MMAjunkie Radio. “He’s going to get taken down, obviously. Khabib can take down pretty much anyone in the division.”
Tristar’s Firas Zahabi believes Khabib’s takedown skills are superior howeverthe elbow strikes of Tony Ferguson could play a massive role.
