Yesterday Erberth Santos made headlines challenging Gordon Ryan to an IBJJF rules Nogi match. Translation? He’d very much like no heel hooks to be allowed. And who can blame him, after all Gordon Ryan has proven himself at ADCC submitting several of his opponents via heel hook.
Here’s how Garry Tonon reacted to the Santos “offer”:

Gordon Ryan doubled down on Tonon’s estimate of the event captioning the tweet on his insta story and added:
