Ryan Hall’s Next UFC Opponent Will Be Gray Maynard

Ryan Hall has had somewhat of a rocky road since winning The Ultimate Fighter Reality Competition season 22. The current season (24) hasn’t been doing great in ratings but we’ll now have one more incentive to tune in for the finale.

Ryan Hall will be fighting against longtime UFC vet Gray Maynard on December 3rd at featherweight.

Maynard’s fight record stands at 12-5-1. The 37 year old fighter has been on a long losing spree since 2011 having lost against TJ Grant, Nate Diaz, Ross Pearson and Alexander Yakovlev. However Maynard is no terms an unskilled fighter, he’s scored notable victories over Frenkie Edgar, Kenny Florian, Jim Miller and Clay Guida among others.

Hall has been largely sidelined since his TUF 22 victory over Artem Lobov. Here’s one of Hall’s heelhooks from the TUF competition:

Hall is notable for having cruised his way through the reality competition utilizing leg locks to the max – he had a pair of first round heel hooks before his majority decision lost against Saul Rogers.

Previous fight Ryan Hall had on schedule was removed following an undisclosed injury suffered by his then opponent Alex White.

Do you think Hall will be Triumphant against the seasoned veteran?
