Ronda Rousey: UFC 207 Will Be One Of My Last Professional Fights

Ronda Rousey just appeared on Ellen Degeneres show and made a startling announcement.

One of the biggest stars of UFC has her days as a professional MMA fighter counted and the bantamweight title match with Amanda Nunes will be among her last.

“I’m wrapping it up.This is definitely one of my last fights. Everyone better watch because the show isn’t going to be around forever.” – Rousey said

This announcement comes after the sale of UFC to, among others, hollywood superagents and Ronda Rousey agents CAA.

Much like Conor McGregor, Ronda is tired of the promotional duties. As she explains it:

“I think it’s more the buildup that’s tiring more than anything else,” Rousey said. “If we had a fight right now, I’d fight and then go get dinner and I wouldn’t feel really tired about it. It’s the weeks and weeks of buildup where you know you’re fighting this one person and it’s like this showdown and the most important thing in your whole life and then there are millions of people watching. It’s that buildup for weeks on end. If it happened right now, I wouldn’t be nervous. It’s the waiting.”
