Rodolfo Vieira recently returned to the jiu jitsu scene for a limited occasion. The CBD black belt invitational with some impressive financial prizes. There he proved once again what made him a powerhouse in jiu jitsu.
So this lead to Gracimag wanting to ask him quite a few questions, among them notably – what are the odds of him matching up with Gordon Ryan:
Dude, I feel well trained I have a chance to win him, yes. He’s a tough guy, and he’s full. It takes foot and heel very well, but it is not alone in that, which is rare. Passes well guard, attacks the back and armlocks. It’s a loose Jiu-Jitsu, a fighting style I like to see.’
As for Rodolfo he’s under contract with ACB and plans to keep growing his career:
I have a contract with ACB. They released me this time but from 2019 I should only fight with them myself. No ADCC, for example. The idea is to fight no gi by ACB, actually. I’m training more without gi. The guys already tried to match me a fight with Gordon Ryan, and I think it would be nice for everyone if the fight rolls.
