In a troubling turn of events promising 10th Planet Blue Belt Nicole “Ozzy” Ossman committed suicide yesterday at age 23.
The whole jiu-jitsu community is saddened by this loss.
Ossman described herself as: “I’m a blue belt under 10thplanet Bethlehem… jiu-jitsu is a big part of my life hopefully it will be my career.”
10th Planet founder Eddie Bravo was troubled by the news and shared on social media:

Ossman was a member of 10th Planet Betlehaim, Mark Shrader’s MMA and the Grappling House Gym. She was active on the competition scene.
