Renzo Gracie: Ryan Lochte Lied About Robbery

One time reality tv star and 12 time Olympic medalist swimmer – Ryan Lochte found himself in a bit of a jam.

Apparently he lied and lodged a false complaint with the Rio Police for an alleged robbery that took place last Sunday.

The Olympic swimmer claimed he and teammates Gunnar Bentz, Jack Conger, and Jimmy Feigen were mugged by thieves pretending to be cops, which didn’t come as much of a surprise based on earlier reports of theft and kidnappings surrounding the games

It is a speculation that the reason for this lie was so he wouldn’t get caught cheating on his girlfriend, playboy playmate Kayla Rae Reid.

The Brazilian police arrived at the Olympic Village on Wednesday to seize the passports of Ryan Lochte and fellow swimmer Jimmy Feigen because they were wanted for questioning in regards to the said robbery.

A surveillance video obtained by the Daily Mail shows Lochte and his teammate Jimmy Feigen laughing and smiling as they return to the Olympic Village after the robbery. During a regular security check, his teammates appear to be holding a phone and a wallet.

In an interesting turn of events BJJ master and one of the most respected individuals in the community Renzo Gracie revealed that Lochte made the robbery story up to save himself from the wrath of his girlfriend if she were to learn about the infidelity. Renzo Gracie told Veja:

“I received the text [provided that the assault would not be true] someone who asked not to be identified, but working within the Olympic Village. From it, I called some acquaintances who worked in the security of the site. When questioned about the veracity of the assault, they showed fear and would not confirm or deny what had happened to the swimmers, “Gracie said

“I remembered that when we entered the Olympic Village, we had to leave all our belongings aside and pass through detectors – and this whole process was filmed. That would be the chance to prove that they could be fabricating the assault, “he said.

Gracie says the video recently released by the British tabloid  Daily Mail , showing the tranquility of the swimmers to reach the Olympic Village, is a further indication that would prove the party version with women.

“This video brings another clue that the text I received is true. They are smiling and apparently with all belongings. I do not believe this to be consistent with someone who had just been robbed, even in a country unfamiliar, “said the athlete, who is unhappy with the negative impact on the Rio de Janeiro in the international press.

“I think this story is shared, we can approach the truth. If they really forged the false report must be punished, “Gracie said.

Lucky for Lochte and Feigen they managed to travel back to USA before the Brazilian police managed to seize their passports…
