Dean Lister recently talked about his 2011 ADCC campaign on a the Jocko Willink podcast, where to the surprise of many, he claimed his third title at the age of 35.
Lister was saying how at the hotel the other competitors where telling him to be careful of young BJJ world champion Rodolfo Vieira who he would face in the semi final of the 99kg division.
Lister made quick work of his young Brazilian opponent, taking his back before transitioning to a 411 position and submitting him by inside heel hook in under 2 minutes.
He claimed the gold medal in the under 99 kg division by also submitting João Assis in the final by a heel hook.
