Olympic Wrestler BITES Opponent During Rio 2016

Ukraine’s Andriy Kvyatkovskyy took a big bite out of his opponent this past Sunday!

The match in question is the men’s freestyle wrestling quarterfinal in the upto 65 kg division that took place in Rio De Janeiro on 21st August.

As the video shows, there seems to be biting as his opponent quickly jerks his hand free from the Ukranian’s jaw.

What is even funnier is that the referee completely missed it.

Ukraine’s Andriy Kvyatkovskyy, 26, is alleged to have sunk his teeth into the arm of United States’ Frank Molinaro, 27, as they fought in the men’s freestyle 65 kg quarterfinals on Sunday .

Footage shows the American athlete holding Kvyatkovskyy’s leg in a twisted position as the pair fought.

But Kvyatkovskyy seemed to opt for an unusual way to get free as he is seen suddenly biting on Molinaro’s arm.

Molinaro leaps back from the mat and begins to signal towards his arm – but the match continues after the referee failed to notice what happened.

Despite the apparent misdemeanor – which would have warranted an immediate disqualification from the match – Molinaro went on to win 3-1.
