Nicky Ryan is looking ahead at fresh new challenges after putting the Geo Martinez match up behind him. Post match we’ve focussed way more on Geo Martinez by virtue of AJ Agazarm call outs but Nicky is not to be outshined.
Nicky Ryan has Joao Miyao in mind for a next match up even though there’s nothing concrete on paper.
Ryan told flograppling:
“I previously lost to his brother Paolo – Paolo is a little bit more bigger than me. I competed against him in a 160 (lbs) tournament. So I think his brother is more fitting to compete against me since he’s more my size”
Either way it sounds very interesting if not for anything else for the complete disregard Miyao’s have for heel hooks – they do not tap to leglocks as Garry Tonon had the pleasure of finding out.
